Equipment

  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • Measuring Cups
  • measuring spoons
  • spoon to mix or whisk
  • pan/griddle/skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (unbleached)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sourdough discard
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp butter or coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat skillet or griddle.
  • Add all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, egg, milk, sourdough discard, and vanilla together.
  • Ater ingredients are mixed well. Add batter into a hot skillet.
  • Flip pancakes when they are golden on each side (about 3-5 minutes).
  • Add to a plate with some butter on top and serve warm with syrup.
