Southern Fried Apples
Delicious sweet and simple dish you can add to any meal to impress guests or just to have a good comfort food.

- 4-5 Honeycrisp apples peeled and cut into slices
- 1/2 cup cane sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 stick butter
Heat skillet to medium and add in butter to melt
peel and slice apples (do this before hand to save some time)
Add apples to the melted butter
Add in sugar and cinnamon
Stir gently being sure to coat the apples well in sugar mixture
Turn heat down to keep from burning but not so low that the apples won't cook
Stir frequently and keeping an eye in sugar
When apples are soft and cooked through serve over favorite meal warm or eat alone
